Worawa Aboriginal Girls College
The challenges faced by Worawa in moving to remote learning have been significant. Technology and Internet access issues compounded the problems the staff and the girls faced adapting to remote learning concepts.
Exceptional commitment by staff has helped with the effectiveness of the transition. Members of our club have attended events and the Principal, Dr Lois Peeler (no relation to our President Dr Janice Peeler) spoke at the Club.
At the time of writing representatives of the club have been invited to attend a Victorian Government / Worawa presentation.
Due to the virus-based restrictions on events, and finances, there has been reduced involvement with the college this year but we hope for better condition in the coming year.
